Destination Wedding at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman

I am so excited to share this stunning destination wedding at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman! It was a dream come true for Rachel and Seth and an absolute honor to capture it all for them. Their wedding was beautifully published in DWeddings Fall/Winter 2018 issue and it was so fun to relive the moments through the gorgeous feature! You can buy it now on newsstands or get a glimpse HERE!

These two met in college where Rachel cheered Seth on during his college football career. Then Seth followed Rachel to Dallas where she moved to continue her career. When Seth popped the question, they knew right away that they wanted an entire weekend away to celebrate with the family and friends they love most. Kimpton Seafire Resort is the first new resort to be built on the island of Grand Cayman in a decade, and Seth and Rachel were one of the very first couples to be married there. The resort is an ocean-front paradise with so many breathtaking locations to choose from including beaches, gardens and hidden walkways. It was truly spectacular! Rachel worked closely with her planner and stylist, Meggie Francisco, to create a beautiful design for the wedding that included elements from the surroundings without leaning too nautical or beachy. The green and white florals included tropical blooms and greenery and even the dinner menu, written on an enormous tropical leaf, tied in the beauty of the island. The bride and groom’s sweet grandmothers kicked the ceremony off by scattering the aisle with rose petals. Rachel was a vision walking down the aisle in a stunning Louvienne gown to a flower-adorned pergola with gorgeous views all around. I feel so lucky to have been a part of this beautiful couple’s journey and the start of their new life together!
