I have the most beautiful, classic wedding to share with you today that took place at The Fort Worth Club in Texas!
Will and Katelyn are such a lovely couple. I just adore the romantic story of how they met and fell in love, told from Will’s perspective: “I had always heard about love at first sight, but I didn’t believe it. That was until the first time I laid eyes on her. I met Katelyn through a mutual friend. She was shy and had a boyfriend, but my heart didn’t care. For what seemed like an eternity, but was probably just shy of a year, any attempts at flirting or getting her number failed. Then the next summer I heard she broke up with her boyfriend, and I knew I had to pursue her. I was playing a gig at a local restaurant/bar and asked her friend to bring her along. It took every bit of courage I had, but I somehow asked her to dinner. She said yes! The connection we had was undeniable. Although we were completely different in so many ways, it just worked. I’ve since grown to understand that she compliments me so well and makes me a better man. The more I get to know her, the more I realize that God had a plan. Now we get to live his plan every day.”
We started the wedding day with the sweetest “First Look” followed by bride and groom portraits at the beautiful Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. I have rarely seen a more stunning bride than Katelyn in her gorgeous Rue De Seine wedding dress and Will looked so dapper in his Hugo Boss tuxedo. The bridal party joined us as well with the ladies looking so lovely in gowns of light blue. Abelia Floral Studio knocked it out of the park with the most gorgeous bouquets in soft shades of pastel. The couple’s little dog who served as the ring bearer stole the show during the ceremony in a miniature tuxedo. The love in the room was palpable and I was so honored to be there to capture every moment for Katelyn and Will!
