I was so honored to see this editorial featured again on Hey Wedding Lady! You can see that full feature HERE!
Our inspiration for this shoot was threefold: we were drawn to the simplistic, New England farm landscapes; Andrew Wyeth’s beautiful realist paintings; and the idea of Indian Summers, that ephemeral moment in late October, when the New England landscape glows with warmth against the dark, vivid fall colors. Originally, Jakki of Jakkelyn Iris Design, contacted me with the concept of creating a shoot inspired by Wyeth’s paintings. As a florist, she was inspired by Wyeth’s simplicity, colors, and distinctive feeling in his paintings. I wanted to use this vision as a jumping off point for a Classic, New England Wedding shoot. Keri, with Always Yours Events, made our dreams for this shoot come to life with her breathtaking take on a rustic tablescape. I absolutely love what she created, and the gorgeous farm this shoot took place on added the ideal backdrop to make our vision come to life.
