I have a chic, modern editorial shoot inspired by fashion that I’m so excited to share with you today! This project was a bit of a departure from my usual style, but I really enjoyed working on something with a moodier, edgier feel. The florals in particular are unlike anything I have ever photographed and it was so much fun for my team and me to really think outside the box when dreaming up this shoot. The neutral color scheme and the wild, natural beauty of the arrangements felt so fresh and unique and provided amazing depth and texture to the photos. Adri of Moss Floral Design created the most stunning floral installation to serve as our set that can only be described as a piece of art. Both the flowers and the fashion selected for this shoot make statements on their own, yet they compliment each other to contribute to the overall aesthetic. The white jumpsuit our gorgeous model wore was chosen to inspire brides to consider a more contemporary (and comfortable!) look for their reception or rehearsal dinner fashion. We imagined her as a fashion-forward bride who considers the latest trends that she can relate to and draws inspiration from the fashion world when planning her wedding. I think the look and feel of wedding details like these resonate with brides who are looking for a more modern, chic style that sets them apart from the traditional and makes their day really feel like them.
