“Something Blue” Fine Art Wedding at the White Sparrow Barn

I’m so excited about this stunning wedding I have to share with you today! Chloe and Austin are really an amazing couple. They have a close relationship with God and with each other. They are both very religious, and their whole day was very centered on God and bringing together two people who are devoted to Him.

On their wedding day, Austin gifted Chloe with a “forever rose” that he had once given her which has been transformed and preserved in a painstaking, 65-step process known as electroforming. Precious metals are applied directly to the flower in many very light layers to maintain as much natural detail of the rose as possible. It was such a sweet, sentimental gift, and I loved watching Chloe’s eyes light up when she opened it.

Chloe also received a beautiful golden ring as a gift from her grandmother to wear on her wedding day. Her sweet grandmother then preceded Chloe down the aisle as the flower girl, scattering rose petals all around. The entire celebration was a gorgeous event with a simple, neutral color palette accented with soft touches of blues and greens. I adored the small “something blue” details throughout the day. The flowers by Abelia Floral Studio were exquisite, especially the oversized wreath that served as the backdrop for the ceremony and sweetheart table. The White Sparrow Barn is one of my favorite venues in all of Texas, and I love how each couple is able to transform it with their own vision. The bride and groom even “exited” in a beautiful classic car, which came early enough for us to grab great photos with! Chloe worked closely with her planner, Karli Jones of Ivory & Vine Event Co., to create a wedding day that reflected the love she has for her “purpose partner” (as she and Austin call one another) and the commitment they were making to each other. Chloe has flawless taste and style, and everything came together so beautifully! I really enjoyed being there to capture these moments for this lovely couple.

At the heart of my work is a belief that wedding photography should feel as meaningful as the moments themselves. Whether capturing the quiet, intimate exchanges or the big celebrations that bring everyone together, my work is guided by artistry, empathy, and an intuitive understanding of what matters most. And with over a decade of experience, I have perfected my role as a wedding photographer to extend beyond the regular documentation — it’s about creating space for all couples to feel supported, present, and fully immersed in their experience.
