I am so happy to share the photos from a beautiful workshop I photographed for Nicole Land of Soil & Stem, currently featured on Dear Gray Magazine. Nicole’s vision for this workshop was to teach Adri Smith of Moss Floral Design a unique approach to bouquet design, large arrangement design, table design + styling, and then boutonniere design. I had the pleasure of photographing the session as they worked, and it was incredible to watch two creatives learning and growing together. While I don’t usually photograph with these dark tones, it was fun to try new things for the day and play with a moodier aesthetic! Nicole’s use of dark foliage around the lighter roses provided a really gorgeous edge and contrast to the bouquet. It is always so inspiring when creatives push the boundaries within their respective fields; I loved the way shadow and shape really played a major role in the design element of this 1:1. Nicole really demonstrated that with passion and vision, there is always an opportunity to create something beautiful and new. Definitely check out the full feature here!
