I have a gorgeous, sun-filled engagement session to share with you today and I’m so excited for you to see the photos! I always really enjoy shooting at the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake, Texas because in the evening this beautiful golden light comes through the trees and makes everything look like a scene out of a fairytale. The preserve is a haven with hidden trails and ponds surrounded by large estates. Rebekah and Blake are the sweetest couple! I could just see and feel their excitement the whole time we were together — excitement to be engaged, to be getting married, and for their happily ever after coming true. I especially loved the couple’s outfit choices for their engagement photos. Rebekah has the most gorgeous Disney Princess eyes, so anything was going to look amazing on her! The colors in her pink lace dress in particular paired really well with the natural surroundings, and the two of them positively glowed with all of that beautiful light around them.
I also adore their love story of perseverance and ultimately triumph. Rebekah and Blake met when they started working together several years ago. They would pass each other in the halls, but otherwise had little interaction. Blake mentioned to one of his coworkers that he was interested in Rebekah and thought she was beautiful. However, she was seeing someone else at the time so he gave up hope. Time went on and he couldn’t stop thinking about her, so he made up his mind to just to go for it! He finally worked up the courage to go talk to Rebekah and luckily she was available. Little did he know, she had been eyeing him as well. She gave Blake her number and the rest is history!
Rebekah and Blake were married just a few weeks ago at the beautiful, historic Adolphus Hotel, so stay tuned for photos of their gorgeous wedding day!

Can I ask when these were taken? I’m planning a trip to DFW and am looking for a photo location for late October!
This engagement session was taken mid-November I believe!
