I absolutely loved photographing Lexi and Henre’s elegant Dallas wedding at The Venue at Waterstone and working with this sweet couple! Henre has been living in London for the past few months and Lexi joined him there right after their wedding to begin their new life together. So this special day was not only a celebration of their love, but also an opportunity to commemorate Lexi’s departure, and to document the love Lexi’s family has for her. Everyone was so involved and invested in this beautiful day; I loved how Lexi’s dad helped fluff her train, walk her down the aisle, bustle her dress, and later share a father-daughter dance. You can tell they have a really wonderful relationship. I also loved how in spite of it being windy (and a bit chilly) by the lake, Lexi and Henre were totally carefree and only wanted everyone to have a good time and be in good spirits. There was so much joy and love at this beautiful wedding; it was such a pleasure to witness it all! Every detail, from the watercolor invitation suite to the pastel blue bridesmaids dresses to the stunning florals, took my breath away. I’m so excited for Lexi and Henre and their bright future in London as newlyweds!
